More Snow Pics!

OK So I know that the rest of you are as sick of the snow as I am, but you have to admit that it can make for some pretty amazing pictures! In the first few of these the yard decorations that you can see are four feet tall! Can you say COMPLETELY BURIED!!! So I guess we are shooting for a red neck Christmas at our house when we finally can take those down in July! Ha Ha Seriously tho we will have to dig them out if we want them down now! Besides that I included a couple of really neat ones of it actually snowing. As you look at the night time picture of the big pine tree those are not stars they are great big snowflakes! The extreme temperatures have also afforded me the opportunity to grow much closer to my little bird friends! Two days ago I was fixing breakfast and realized that a funny tapping noise was coming from the window on the deck. (This might not seem odd to you but the deck has no access from the ground so what could possibly be making that noise) So I looked up and this little tiny finch was sitting there giving me the "stink eye". Well apparently I had allowed our feeders to get empty! Mind you I fill them at some point almost every day. So there he sat tapping on the window and chirping at me irritably. I went right out to rectify the situation. After he filled his little tummy he sat up on top of the feeder and sang us a beautiful song. So attitude and all I really have enjoyed the increase in the wildlife population in our yard.
